Local award-winning trainer Heather Hitchcock, with her dog Choo Choo Charlie, will demonstrate several key skills and techniques. She’ll share insight about how to read and connect with your dogs, as well as the importance of building focus and attention. Learn about how these skills can can assist in moving towards therapy work.
While this program is intended for adult dog owners, all ages are welcome to attend. Parents/guardians, please remain with your children for the duration of this program.
Heather Hitchcock is an AKC approved instructor and evaluator & a national-level competitor. With over 40 years of experience with training and showing dogs, she is committed to working and training with the most effective motivational techniques for each individual dog. She is a long-standing member of the American Kennel Club, the United Kennel Club, the United Schutzhund Club of America & Bright Spot Therapy dogs.
