Evergreen Community Library - Smokey Bear has warned us about the dangers of wildfires since 1944, when the Smokey Bear Wildfire Prevention Campaign was launched. It is the longest running public service Children up to Grade 6 Join Smokey in learning about wildfires and the environment! Read books, take action and have fun! To celebrate Smokey's 80th birthday, we will be having a reading challenge during fire prevention week! Read 3 or more books about wildfire prevention or the environment and earn a certificate and some smokey prizes!
