Enjoy a reading of poems that celebrate adolescence, mid-life, and mature years. Evelyn Hampton and Flora Higgins, who will be reading the poems, selected them from a pool of about a hundred. The authors range from Shakespeare, Yeats, and Robert Frost to Mary Oliver, Rita Dove, and Dorothy Parker. The audience is invited to share their favorite poem on the subject, if they wish, at the conclusion of the reading. Hampton and Higgins are members of Jersey Shore Poets.
