About Colum | Colum McCann

The Lyme Library is honored to have the author Colum McCann appear and speak about his writing and his work with Narrative 4. Mr. McCann is an internationally recognized author whose work has been published in over 40 languages. His writings have been published in the New York Times, The New Yorker, Esquire, Paris Review, The Atlantic Monthly, Granta and numerous other publications.

His books include the winner of the National Book Award “Let the Great World Spin”, TransAtlantic, Apeirogon,  American Mother and three collections of short stories including Thirteen Ways of Looking at Things. His most current work Twist is due to be released in 2025.

A prolific author and reporter, Mr. McCann is the founder and President of Narrative 4 an international empathy educational nonprofit.

Mr. McCann’s books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
