Earn community service by creating Kindness Cards for Garden City Public Library patrons!
Spread kindness in the community by participating each month in submitting Kindness Cards to the Library!
Use art supplies and paper at home to create cards featuring positive, uplifting messages, and then bring them to the Library!
These cards will then be put out at the Library for patrons to take and to brighten their day!
- Teens may submit up to 10 kindness cards per month.
- Teens will receive 1 hour of community service credit for every 5 cards they submit, at the discretion of the Young Adult Department.
- Volunteers must submit cards with a volunteer form, which can be found at the Library outside the Tweens and Teens Room.
Please return completed Kindness Cards and the form to the Community Service Drop-Off Box on the metal cabinet in the Tweens & Teens Room.
