Grades 6-12 and parents/guardians

While there are around 5,300 colleges and universities in the United States, many students set their sights on just a handful. This group often includes the most highly selective institutions, such as Stanford and MIT, and usually includes one, some, or all of the eight Ivy League colleges. Dr. P. – herself a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard – will describe key actions that middle and high school students can take to make themselves competitive for admission to one of these institutions.
